The Coast of Brittany – Sept, 2025

Join me as we explore the Brittany area of France. A main feature of the tour will of course be the fascinating lighthouses.

As we will cover quite a large area on the tour there are three bases for the trip. This minimises the amount of driving between locations each day.

Day 1 – following pick up from the airport at 3pm, we will drive less than an hour to our first hotel in Pornic. This put us in the perfect location to explore the nearby fishing huts. 

Day 2 & 3 – after a sunrise shoot we will depart & travel towards Brest, where we will be staying in the town of Plougonvelin for 2 nights. This is the perfect location for us to explore the close by lighthouses of Kermorvan, Le Petit Minou and Ponte St. Mathieu. We will also travel north to Phare de Pontusval lighthouse from here. 

Day 4 & 5 – after sunrise we will travel to St. Malo where we will be based for the final two nights of the workshop. From here we will also cross in to Normandy to shoot the iconic Mont St. Michel. 

Transport throughout the workshop will be provided in our own luxury 9 seater van, which has extra legroom, usb points, leather seats, climate control, privacy glass and a large luggage capacity. 

Pick up from Nantes Airport at 3pm on Monday 1st of September

Drop at Nantes Airport at 3pm on Saturday 6th of September.

• Dslr camera/mirrorless /bridge
• Sturdy tripod
• Polariser and graduated neutral density filters (if available)
• Walking shoes\ boots
• Spare batteries

• 5 nights accommodation, single occupancy
