The complex was designed by Santiago Calatrava and Félix Candela, along with engineers Autores Arup and the architect of the aquarium itself Ángela García de Paredes.

The City of Arts and Sciences stands as an iconic landmark in Valencia, and a significant cultural and entertainment hub. With its forward-thinking and innovative design, it has drawn the attention of photographers from around the world, symbolizing the region’s commitment to modern architecture and cultural progress.
Architectural abstract photography is a genre that focuses on capturing elements of architecture in a way that emphasises form, shape, colour, texture, and composition rather than a literal representation of buildings.
During this workshop, we will seek to convey a sense of abstraction, mood, and artistic interpretation in all our images.
