Valencia City of Arts & Sciences – Sept, 2027

Join me for an immersive photography workshop set against the stunning backdrop of the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia. This enchanting city, known for its architectural wonders and vibrant culture, provides the perfect setting for photographers of all levels to sharpen their skills and unleash their creativity. 

Whether you’re a beginner eager to learn the basics or a seasoned photographer seeking inspiration, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to explore this architectural masterpiece and capture its beauty through the lens. Get ready to embark on a memorable journey where you’ll unlock the secrets of composition, lighting, and storytelling, all while surrounded by the awe-inspiring splendour of Valencia’s City of Arts and Sciences.

The workshop will begin on Friday the 17th of September at 6pm with a meet and greet at the hotel. With the option after, to head to one of the fabulous restaurants near our hotel in Valencia and enjoy the local cuisine. Following this the group will head out to explore the iconic City of Arts. As the sun sets we will capture the futuristic architecture of the Hemisfèric, the mesmerising water features of the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia, and the intricate design of the Museu de les Ciències Príncipe Felipe.

Over the following 3 full days of the workshop (Saturday, Sunday & Monday) we will begin each day with a sunrise shoot. Experimenting with reflections, leading lines, and symmetrical compositions. Rising early allows us to witness & capture the soft hues of dawn casting a magical glow upon the architectural wonders. 

Following our sunrise shoot we will return to our hotel for breakfast. After a short rest period we will head back out to continue shooting for the remainder of the day. We will take breaks as required throughout the day as we continue to explore all the City of Arts has to offer, including the interiors of these fascinating architectural creations.

The workshop will conclude with a final sunset shoot on the evening of Monday the 20th.

There will be a pre-workshop Zoom session for all participants. This will be an opportunity learn more about what you can expect on the workshop.

A minimum of 4 participants are required for this workshop to go ahead.

We will meet at 6pm on Friday the 17th of September at our hotel.
