Workshop Overview

Join us for an immersive 4-day photography experience in one of Europe’s most visually captivating cities, where classic architecture meets the golden light of the Danube. A big part of our workshop will include evening and night photoshoots, as the city becomes alive during these times, making it an extra special time to capture the life and soul of Budapest.

With a small group of just seven participants, you’ll receive individual, 1-to-1 tuition throughout — ensuring personal attention, tailored feedback, and the freedom to explore your creative style. Whether you’re learning to master exposure, capture movement, or perfect composition, this workshop is designed to meet you at your current level and help you grow confidently.

What You’ll Experience

Golden Hour & Blue Hour Sessions – Shoot the city’s most iconic locations at dawn and dusk, including the Parliament Building, Chain Bridge, and Buda Castle.
Architectural & Cityscape Photography – Explore Budapest’s grand facades, bridges, and historic sites with guidance on composition, framing, and use of light.
Street Photography Adventures – Capture life in the markets, cafés, and courtyards of Pest, with techniques for candid and storytelling imagery.
Night Photography – Master long exposures and light trails against Budapest’s illuminated skyline and reflections on the Danube.
1-to-1 Guidance – Ongoing personalised coaching during every session.

Meet at hotel (details TBC) at 3.30pm on Monday 9th

** Please note, meeting time is not set around flight times. It may be necessary to arrive a day before the workshop begins to ensure you are at the meeting place on time. This is to facilitate a timely start on the workshop, ensuring we begin shooting on locations as early as possible Day 1.**

Workshop will end on Thursday evening after a sunset & blue hour shoot. Check out on Friday morning.

Equipment needed:

DSLR camera / mirrorless / bridge or similar
Sturdy tripod
Graduated neutral density filters
Good walking shoes / boots
Spare batteries

All on-location photography sessions and professional tuition
Local transport during workshop hours
Entrance fee for the Parliament building tour and the Opera House Tour fee is also included, as these will be part of the workshop ( subject to availability).
